In an attempt to reduce costs we are going to hold this year’s dinner at a church hall rather than a restaurant.

Date: Saturday 11 October 2025

Time: 6.30 for 7pm

Speaker: Revd Richard Lloyd-Morgan. Richard was a professional opera singer for many years. He
was ordained in 1998 and 2003 became the Chaplain of King’s College in Cambridge where he worked
for 12 years. Now actively retired Richard lives in Clapham.

Venue: St Peter’s Church, 23 Plough Road, Battersea, SW11 2DE

Cost: £35 per head. This may be paid either by transfer to the SSLSO account or in cash on the day.

Please note – St Peter’s does not have a licence to sell alcohol and it would be appreciated if people
would bring a bottle.

Buses – 170, 295 and C3 stop outside the church
35, 37, 87, 156 stop on St John’s Hill, about 5 minutes’ walk from the church (Plough Road stop)
44 stops on York Road, about 3 minutes’ walk from the church
Parking is free outside the church from 6.30 on Saturdays.
