Members had an enjoyable afternoon visiting St Mildred’s, Addiscombe and St Matthew’s, East Croydon, as these photos clearly show.

The organ at St Mildred’s underwent a complete restoration recently, with the pipes from the Grand (West) Organ being taken from a local redundant church organ.

Both instruments are playable from the choir organ console at the east end of the church.

This has been an outstandingly successful project.
