Join us on Wednesday 16th July for a visit to 2 churches in Esher, including lunch, a concert and a the opportunity to hear and play a 3-manual Walker organ.

Programme

Old St George’s Church, Esher Park Avenue, Esher, Surrey KT10 9PX

• 1230  Light lunch at Old St George’s
• 1315  Music on the Green concert:  Tondo Duo (saxophone and guitar) – programme to include CPE Bach, Debussy, Piazzolla and Gershwin
• 1415  Short guided viewing of the Tudor-era Old St George’s Church

Transfer on foot (less than 5 mins walk) to Christ Church, Church Street, Esher KT10 8QS

• 1445   Musical session at Christ Church, including organ demo’s by members of the Parish Music Team and a chance to play our 3-manual Walker instrument
• 1545   Informal refreshments at the back of church
• 1615   End of visit.

The church is about a mile from Esher station, or you can get a train to Surbiton and then take the K3 bus which stops near the church. If anyone is interested in driving or car sharing please contact us.
