Our thanks for their time to Anne Marsden Thomas and Frederick Stocken.

On February 18th. we had our annual composite recital at Penge Congregational Church. This event reflects our happy association with our Honorary member Marilyn Nicholson, now retired to Scotland. Marilyn hosted this for many years and gave us all her time and energy to encourage the many players who showed an interest in taking part. This time we can thank our Committee member Alan Langridge, who is local to the Church and doing much good there to involve local musicians. We are sorry that Michael Cooke couldn’t be included, but he lives in deepest Kent and had to get home. Norman Harper, Charlie Warren and I are stepping down. Especial thanks to Norman for his wisdom and his attention to detail in what we do and to Charlie for his many hours in preparing for two years of Awards for the Education Scheme, which has seen many young people benefit from tuition.
