This is a beautiful Gilbert Scott Gothic Revival church from the mid-eighteen hundreds.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sslso.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/ss2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sslso.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/ss2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8943\" width=\"136\" height=\"204\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sslso.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/ss2.jpg 390w, https:\/\/sslso.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/ss2-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 136px) 100vw, 136px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>It is located at the junction of Camberwell Road, SE5 8RB and Peckham Road, with good parking in front of the church and in adjacent streets &#8211; which are free of parking restrictions on Sundays. There are many buses passing and even a bus stop named after the church!<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sslso.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/ss3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sslso.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/ss3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8944\" width=\"172\" height=\"134\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sslso.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/ss3.jpg 566w, https:\/\/sslso.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/ss3-300x234.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 172px) 100vw, 172px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>The entrance to the Crypt is from the church porch with a few steps down to the rooms with ample relaxed seating. There is even a piano for anyone who feels up to it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AND if the day is really fine, there is good outside seating.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sslso.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/ss4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sslso.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/ss4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8945\" width=\"178\" height=\"157\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sslso.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/ss4.jpg 475w, https:\/\/sslso.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/ss4-300x265.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 178px) 100vw, 178px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>There is no charge, other than at the bar (comprehensive and very modest prices &#8211; credit card preferred).
